Since frontend users that register via Woocommerce use the same login-flow as Wordpress users do, and we use quite strict fail2ban policies for Wordpress, we get some customers that lock themselves out of the site. Is there any way to distinguish between Woocommerce and Wordpress users, and maybe set different policies?
The short answer is no, not at the moment.
However, an add-on for WooCommerce is in the planning stages; there are many areas of Woo that need special handling which don’t belong in the main plugin.
